About the instructor - Kathy England has been involved in the longrifle culture and producing scrimshaw since the early 1980s. She is best known for her highly detailed work on powder horns, particularly flat Scottish Highland horns and designs incorporating allegorical and Baroque elements influenced by continental European horns.
Kathy’s work has appeared in American Traditions (the Journal of the Contemporary Longrifle Association), The Horn Book (a publication of the Honourable Company of Horners), MuzzleBlasts and Muzzleloader magazines and, together with her husband Stash David, is featured in a volume of the CLA Artists Series.
