Tomahawk and Belt Axe Workshop

Cost

Cost of workshop which includes meals and lodging: $525. ​There is a $30 additional fee for materials.

​Learn the basics of forging, heat treating, finishing and fitting up a handle to make a traditional 18th century tomahawk / belt axe with ABS Journeyman Bladesmith Rich McDonald. 

During this three day course you will learn how to make an axe
 from a piece of high carbon steel using the punched eye method. ​A materials fee of $30.00 is required.  Steel, wood, stain and finish will be supplied.
