Tom Curran, a self- inflicted engraver for over twenty five years, was born in a small town overlooking the Hudson Valley, sharing the historic waterway with the likes of Henry Hudson, Joseph Brant, Phillip Schuyler and Sir William Johnson. Mr. Curran has been building muzzleloading rifles for thirty or more years. Tom learned to engrave through sheer persistence. When that failed, he took some lessons from professional engravers.
