Maryellen Pratt is an established leatherworker whose work is greatly appreciated and sought after by traditional hunters, shooters and collectors alike. While her primary focus has been the creating of traditionally styled leather pouches and knife sheaths, she also enjoys making haversacks, knapsacks, accoutrement pouches and various woven straps.
Always willing to share her knowledge, Maryellen has taught leatherworking classes at the Log Cabin Shop in Lodi, Ohio and was a guest instructor at a meeting of the Washington Historical Gunmakers' Guild.
Her work has been shown frequently on the Contemporary Makers' Blog, and her hand stitched leather pouches have been featured on the covers of both Muzzle Blasts and American Tradition magazines.
