Jeanne McDonald

Jeanne lives on a small farm in Highland County Ohio with her husband Rich.  When Rich’s work making custom knives took off she gave up being a real estate agent to start making the sheaths for Rich’s knives.  Jeanne then expanded into making hunting pouches, haversacks and all manner of leather accoutrements for the longrifle enthusiasts.

Jeanne is also an accomplished weaver with an inkle loom and she creates powder horn straps and rifle slings from her woven straps.  Jeanne teaches an inkle loom weaving demonstration at Dixon’s Gunmakers Fair each year.

Jeanne has also won four Judges Choice Awards at Dixon’s Fair for her hunting pouches.  Her work is in collections around the globe and is used by reenactors, hunters and professional guides.
