Class Description
​

In this two day class, leatherworkers Jeanne MacDonald and Maryellen Pratt will guide you through the making of traditionally styled hunting pouches, haversacks  and properly fitted knife sheaths. Techniques including material selection, design, layout, leather finishing and a variety of stitching styles will all be covered.

There is an additional $20 materials fee for this class. Students planning to make a sheath need to bring a knife for fitting.

​Materials supplied by your instructors will include leather, fabric, thread, needles, dye and buckles. Your instructors can also provide all the tools you will need to work on your projects in class, however If you have your own leatherworking tools, feel free to bring them along.
